CRYSTAL ETCHING INFO

Deep Etch

The deep etch is our most luxurious technique and provides the ultimate in etched crystal. Your logo is cut deeply into the surface of the glass and requires no breaks within the design. In nearly all cases, a logo can be etched without modification.



Light Etch

The light etch economically reproduces the fine detail in a delicate but permanent surface etch. As illustrated, the light etch technique does necessitate small breaks in any enclosed letter or area.


 

HAND-CUT MONOGRAMMING Authentic hand-cut monogramming is available for the majority of our items with no set-up charge. Use the deep etch price for hand-cut monogramming and include with your order the list of initials and style desired. Contact customer service for further information.   Hand-cut Diamond Hand-cut Roman Hand-cut Stagger Hand-cut Panel Note: Hand-cut diamond style cuts last name initial in the center.

When adding copy, choose from the following typestyles or provide your own on a disk.

ARTWORK
All orders must be accompanied by clean, black and white artwork. Artwork submitted in grayscale or color will incur an art charge. Photocopies, faxes, matchbooks, letterheads, photographs, etc are also subject to art charges. If submitted artwork is not suitable for reproduction, we reserve the right to "clean-up" the art without approval if charges do not exceed $75.  Should charges exceed $75, you will be notified for prior approval.

Digital Artwork: Digital artwork submitted must have been created in Adobe Illustrator 9.0 or below on the Macintosh platform. Artwork may be sent on a 3.5", Zip Disk, CD or DVD. Images must be vector based (raster images are not acceptable). Images must be black and white only - no color, grayscale or halftones accepted. Please include all fonts used and/or create outlines. A complete printout of artwork must be sent on disk must accompany your order.
